Day 1- ITINERARY
Thursday 6th June

11.35am: Arrive at Uluru airport, shuttle bus to hotel, refreshments on arrival, check in.
1.00pm:  Meet in the foyer to walk into town for lunch.
 After lunch walk and explore the area to familiarise ourselves with the amenities and park areas where you can witness dot painting by the locals or indulge in free didgeridoo demonstration where you can participate.
4.00pm. Back to the hotel for a rest or dip in the pool.
5.30pm: Welcome drinks, meet hosts and itinerary discussed, Q & A
6.00pm: Dinner at Sales of the deser

Day 2 - ITINERARY
Friday 7th June

8.00am:  Awaken the body and connecting with spirit, through different styles of body works with Toni
8.45am:  Breakfast
10.00am:  Images of the Imagination Art Class, includes drawing techniques with Mary
Morning tea provided.
1.00pm:  Lunch
2.00pm till 4.30:  Images of the Imagination, includes painting demonstration,
use of mediums and brush techniques with Mary - afternoon tea provided.
5.00pm:  Integrating the days work with 30 minutes relaxation with Toni.
6 30pm:  Meet in Hotel foyer for shuttle bus to the Outback Pub BBQ dinner


Day 3 - ITINERARY
Saturday 8th June

8.00am:  Awaken the body and connecting with spirit, for different styles of body works with Toni.
8.45am:  Meet in the foyer to walk into town for breakfast
11.30am:  Learn Dot painting from local Anangu artist (with Interpreter) about ancient symbols,
traditional foods, tools for hunting & gathering.
Get inspired by the storytelling of the creation time (Tjukurrpa) to create your very own work of art. Held in town, duration 90 minutes.
1.00pm:  Lunch in town
2.00pm:  Images of the Imagination Art Workshop with Mary
4.00pm:  Free time for reflection, rest or dip in the pool or free coaching for 30 minutes with Mary or Toni,
book directly with either person.
6.00pm:  Meet in the foyer for shuttle bus pick up.
“For the amazing laser light show”
Wintjiri Wiru meaning (‘beautiful view out to the horizon’)
A story passed on for thousands of generations, in a breathtaking cultural experience,
a chapter of the ancestral Male story through Choreographed drones,
lasers and projections that illuminate the night sky, a fully-immersive light and sound experience.
This story now passes onto you.
Includes Dinner, canapés and drinks.


Day 4 - ITINERARY                                   
Sunday 9th June

5.30am:  Meet in the hotel foyer for a 5.55am Shuttle bus departure to Airs Rock (Uluru) for The Desert Awakening Sunrise Tour which includes breakfast.
11.00am:  Back at the hotel for a rest and free time.
1.00pm:  Lunch
2.00pm:   Images of the Imagination Workshop with Mary
4.00pm:   Free time for reflection, rest or dip in the pool or free coaching for 30 minutes with Mary or Toni,
book directly with either person.
5.00pm:  Optional free time or come and join for a session of Relaxation till  5.30pm
6.00pm:  Dinner


Day 5 - ITINERARY
Monday 10th June

8.00am:  Awaken the body and connecting with spirit, for different styles of body works with Toni.
8.45am:  Breakfast 
10.00am:  Images of the Imagination Art Workshop with Mary, morning tea provided.
1.00pm:  Lunch
2.00pm:  Explore Uluru in your own time, rest, dip in pool, mentoring, or meet Mary on the grass area if you would like to go over or work some more on your painting.
4.00pm:  Sharing and Completion circle for all participants with Toni and Mary.
6.00pm:  Final celebration dinner together.


Day 6 - ITINERARY
Tuesday 11th June

8.00am:  Group Breakfast
Fly out: Transfers to the airport are often, depending on your time of departure, unless staying on.


Some suggestions:
CLOTHING:
Weather during the day will range from 20 to 30 degrees and can get as low as 3 degrees over night.
Nights and mornings can get quite cold so it is important that you have warm clothes packed especially for the sunset or sunrise activities, recommended a warm jacket or coat including gloves, scarf and beanie, also good warm foot ware and sun hat for daytime.

POOL:
Opening hours for the pool are between 6am - 10am daily.
Pool towels are available in your room and by the pool.

Let’s meet up again over a meal to recap our experience together, reconnect and continue the friendships made, when and where? will be confirmed together as a group.

TONI WALL
Yoga, Meditation Teacher & Coordinator

​Toni Wall is a highly qualified and experienced yoga teacher with a strong passion for her work, dedicated to helping people reach their highest potential. She has an impressive background, having graduated from Gita Yoga International School and accumulating over 22 years of teaching experience. Toni's commitment to continuous learning is evident through her studies and teachings both overseas and in Australia. Her diverse skill set includes diplomas and certificates in various specialised areas such as Progressive Yoga Relaxation, Stretch Therapist, iRest (a form of meditation, especially effective with trauma), Somatic Yoga, Inner Peace Meditation, Stillness Meditation, Breath Work, art and dance therapy, coaching, and many more. This extensive range of qualifications reflects Toni's holistic approach to well-being, integrating physical, mental, and emotional aspects into her teaching.Toni's enthusiasm for her work shines through, and her passion is evident in her commitment to ongoing professional development. By being a member of Yoga Australia, she aligns herself with a recognised professional body, showcasing her dedication to maintaining high standards in her teaching practice.Overall, Toni Wall's extensive qualifications, international experience, and commitment to ongoing learning and self-improvement make her a valuable and passionate yoga teacher, dedicated to empowering individuals to reach their highest potential through various holistic approaches.


MARY CAIA
Artist, Illustrator, Art Teacher

Mary Caia is a seasoned artist and illustrator with 20 years of experience. Her educational background includes a 3-year Diploma in Illustration, showcasing her commitment to honing her artistic skills. Additionally, she pursued a 2-year Diploma in Yoga Teacher Training and Meditation, indicating a diverse set of interests and a holistic approach to her personal and creative growth. What sets Mary apart is the integration of her artistic journey with her spiritual and self-discovery pursuits. Her art practice has evolved through an understanding of creating from the right brain, emphasising intuition and creativity. Mary allows the guidance of spirit to infuse life into her creations, resulting in paintings that tell stories and reveal aspects of herself.By tapping into this intuitive and spiritual approach to art, Mary gains a deeper understanding of herself with each painting. Each piece becomes a reflection of her personal journey, providing insights and helping her grow. Airfares are approximately from around $400+, book your own flight, or use frequent flyer points.
Flight details need to be advised to Toni and if needing assistance to book please advise Toni as soon as possible.


Please note that flights are direct from Melbourne to Ayres Rock with both Jetstar and Virgin Airways everyday but Tuesday.
Return flights from Ayres Rock back to Melbourne with Jetstar and Virgin Airways everyday but Wednesday.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

It is essential that you read the following terms and conditions so that the travel experience with us is as straightforward as possible and you understand the itinerary and trip information before you make your booking.

FLIGHTS, TRAVEL & TRANSFERS:
Flights or sea transport are not included and are to be organised by you. As everyone will be arriving at different times, we ask that you advise us of your arrival and departure so that we can organise your shuttle bus to the Hotel.

EXTRA NIGHTS ACCOMODATION:
Should you choose to fly in earlier or extend your stay and require extra accomodation nights, these should be arranged with Sails of the Desert Hotel or with Toni who is happy to book extra nights for you. These will be paid separately by you.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Travel insurance is recommended. Personal liability and cancellation cover should be included in the event you need to cancel during the tour or inside the refund dates.

HEALTH:
This tour is designed for the travellers of all ages from 18+ and assumes you are responsibly fit and healthy as walking will be involved, and you need to be able to manage your own luggage.

There are currently no entry requirements in place to travel to Uluru due to Covid-19, this may change. Check online at coronavirus.uluru.com.au and comply with any new government conditions. Do not travel to Uluru if you are unwell or test positive for Covid-19 beforehand. Bring a face mask with you if you feel more comfortable wearing one during the retreat.

PAINTING SESSIONS:
Our group will be painting together as described in the itinerary. Mary will demonstrate and instruct you on the medium we are using. Morning tea will be provided in each art session. Times however may vary depending on circumstances.

LUGGAGE, MATERIALS LIST:
All materials for the art sessions will be provided. Please also bring warm clothes for outdoor excursions as evenings and early mornings the climate becomes cool. A good windproof jacket is therefore recommended as well as sturdy closed walking shoes, gloves, scarf and beanie for the sunrise and sunset excursions

RESPOSIBILITY:
We will be travelling to a variety of places were standards of transport, safety, hygiene, telecommunications, medical facilities and general infrastructure can vary form place to place. This may be unfamiliar to your usual traveling arrangements. Please take this into account at the time of booking and understanding the levels of personal risk, which the application agrees to fully.

The participant understands that during the course of the trip certain events may occur including, but not limited to accident or illness, and the force of nature. The applicant agrees to issue all risks associated with the journey to the maximum extent permitted by law. Any medical to evacuation expenses incurred due to injury or illness will be the responsibility  of the participant. Participants should be medically sound with reasonable fitness to take part in tour activities. Participants must be aware that travel within a group may involve compromise to accomodate the diverse desires and physical abilities of group members.

The participants acknowledge that travelling with the group on this retreat may require a degree of flexibility due to change in local circumstances. should we deem it advisable to ament an itinerary for any reason, we may do so by shortening, varying or re-routing and trip. These changes are binding and additional expenses may be charged to the participant if the reason for and major alteration is outside our control.

Be aware that we have contracted with a network of companies and individuals to assist in the running of this retreat. To the best of out knowledge, these third parties are qualified
to perform the duties they are contracted to perform however, we will not be  held liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay or irregularity that may occur due to the behaviour of these third parties. We will also not accept responsibility or liability for any tour participant who contravenes any law or regulation of any place we visit.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS:
Should the retreat be cancelled due to minimum numbers not being met or unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to client safety at risk or for operational reasons, you will be offered a full refund prior to the start of the retreat.
Should your tutor be unable to travel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a suitable substitute tutor will be sought in order for the to proceed and to avoid cancellation and disappointment.
In the event that government travel restrictions prevent travel, you will be issued a full refund subject to paid funds being returned from the network of companies and individual engaged to assist in the running of the retreat.

It is important that you wait until the tour has been confirmed before making any other travel arrangements.
We are not responsible for any other expenses incurred by you outside this itinerary in preparation for or during this retreat, such as  personal purchases, airfares, travel insurance, travel delays or cancellations in the event of health problems, including should we need to cancel the tour. There is also no refund if you arrive late or decide to leave the tour early. Your deposit secures your place on the retreat
